Muddy Waters, overlooking the beautiful Balluta Bay in St. Julians’ has been one of the most popular bars outside the Paceville area for the last 15 years. Opened in December 1993, it was immediately well received by both younger and older generations who have at heart love for music and pleasant night out in a good, friendly and entertaining atmosphere. Muddy Waters opened as a Rock & Blues bar, hence the name and became popular for its Thursday nights with live rock music by Malta’s leading bands. Throughout the years, Muddies, as it is now known today, has become one of Malta’s trendiest bars. Every night is a rock night and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights the clients decide what music they want to hear from the very impressive well equipped Rock/Blues Juke Box.

Friday & Saturday nights are dedicated to classic rock & Blues music with popular rock dj’s spinning classic tunes from Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Beatles, U2, The Black Crows, The Darkness, etc.. Sunday Evenings are live nights, with leading rock bands performing. On a good night at Muddies, don’t be surprised as you’ll probably see most of the crowd get up to dance on the renowned Muddies stage tables, stools.... wherever and the atmosphere is special and unique. The regulars at Muddy Waters are today one big family who just love to get out and enjoy themselves in a friendly and safe surrounding, the bar staff, which also includes the owners are of the same mentality..
